Harley-Davidson Team Up With Sheilas Shakedown

Sheilas Shakedown, is an annual motorcycle rally that is back bigger than ever with support from Harley-Davidson this year. The annual festival is taking place in Ballan, Victoria from February 3rd-5th and brings together female motorcycle enthusiasts from across the nation.

The weekend filled with music, arts and group rides brings those together with a passion for adventure, motorcycles and pure fun. Harley-Davidson will be supporting the main stage this year, where acts such as OMG Becky, Heavy Amber, The Miffs, and Moody Beaches will be entertaining the crowds for the weekend.

As well as the main event, Harley-Davison are kicking off celebrations early with an organised group ride to the event that encourages participation and the opportunity to experience some of the best roads Australia has to offer.

The celebrations don’t stop there, with Harley-Davidson dealerships also joining the ride. At Harley-Heaven Dandenong, a bespoke garage party will be held to mark the occasion with a live panel of Harley-Davidson brand ambassadors and experts including Katie James and Emma McFerren and Harley-Davidson’s, Jess Riemsdijk sharing their passion for riding and the brand.

They’ll discuss their experience, riding careers and time with the brand. Speaking about the partnership, Nigel Keough Managing Director Harley-Davidson ANZ said: “This year we are celebrating 120 years of the Harley-Davidson brand and want to empower all riding enthusiasts to celebrate what motorcycling is all about – a timeless pursuit of adventure.

Through partnering with Sheilas Shakedown we are focused on supporting female motorcycling events and encouraging more women to ride. This is just part of a multi-year strategy to share the benefits of what riding brings to all people and we are excited to be kicking it off with this iconic event.”

Sheilas Shakedown organiser Remmi Aloni said: “It’s great to have the support from historic brands such as Harley-Davidson. The annual Sheilas Shakedown is about more than just motorcycles, it’s about bringing a community together who empower each other and share their passions.

This year we will be supporting the Centre Against Violence with our annual raffle which we are proud to be able to help in any way we can.”
