Falco Lennox 2 Boots

We have always been a little curious of the practicality and functionality of the ever popular casual sneaker style motorbike boot and we thought it was time to put a pair on our feet and put them to the test. Our test subjects would be the Lennox 2 boots by Italian manufacturer Falco.

We recently had the opportunity to meet and have lunch with Mattia Foscarini from Falco who explained the manufacturing process, the history, the passion and craftsmanship that goes into making the Falco product.

Immediately we were hooked and needed to have a pair of these Italian made beauties to try for ourselves. Our initial impressions of the Falco Lennox 2 boots replicate that passion. The construction is quality and the comfort is on point.

This style of boot offers a lot of practicality for us as we find ourselves jetting in and out of bike launches, a boot we can wear to dinner and through the airport as well as on the bike is a godsend and cuts down on the amount of luggage we need to carry to events.

The Falco Lennox 2 certainly ticks the boxes when it comes to meeting this criteria. Our all black test subject looks the goods when wearing casual and are comfortable for everyday wear. Now we must admit that when we met with Mattia he had a classy looking grey and tan version of the boot he was wearing and we did have our eyes set on the same colour option.

However after discussing with distributor Motivational it was very interesting to learn Australia is a black nation. The sales figures illustrate that 9 out of 10 pairs of boots sold in this style are actually purchased in black. So black it was and once unwrapped out of the box, they looked pretty mint.

The Falco Lennox 2 are constructed utilising a full-grain embossed upper and air tech ventilated liner. The ventilated liner ensures air flow especially when riding a motorcycle such as a Harley where your feet are in the wind.

There is also protective D30 reinforced ankle cups, a raised inner sole and high grip rubber sole. This for us was one of the more intriguing propositions with this style of boot being how slippery it would be when planting your feet on the ground, however the Lennox 2 stood up to the test.

The other part we were curious about was how we would go if we scrapped our boot whilst cornering and we did test that whilst riding our long term Honda Hornet and again the Falco Lennox 2 stood up to the test.

To fasten the boots there is a zipper on the side and laces. The zipper has presented us with no issues and seems to be sturdy with faultless operation thus far. The fit for our size 10 fit is good and the boot is very comfortable both on and off bike.

Locally the Falco Lennox 2 boot is available in Black and Army and comes in both a mens and lady variant in a range of sizes. Like always we recommend shopping around for the best deal, however the recommended retail price for the Lennox 2 boot is stated as $259.95 on the official Falco website.
